The TAPCO AR Carbine Handguard offers a 50% weight reduction over a railed aluminum handguard. The lightweight but high-strength composite offers both weight reduction and durability in addition to something no aluminum handguard can match: over 300 rounds in full auto and still cool to the touch. We also think customization and choice is the specialty of the TAPCO line, so we molded in four Picatinny rails (located at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 positions) with removable side and bottom rails covers. This allows you to decide which ones you want to use, and which ones you want to keep hidden.
